Paying from Belgium follows a predictable pattern: you deposit with Bancontact or Bancontact Pay, while the withdrawal arrives by transfer. The rename from Payconiq to Bancontact Pay dates from March 2026. Bancontact sits on the Belgian debit card as standard, with a minimum deposit that usually sits at €5.
